I had a very sad encounter today, Dec 7, 2017, with the owner of the Earl Duff Subaru dealership In Harriman, TN. After expressing my dissatisfaction with an issue his comment to me was...”I don't manufacture the car...what do you want me to do?” “...I don't deal with these issues, that is what I have managers for...” Again, this was the DEALER/OWNER. Very poor attitude, Mr. Tim Duff of Earl Duff Subaru. As owner, you sure don't set an example for your employees with regard to Customer Service.
Recently moved to Oak Ridge area and needed service on my 2017 STI. Though this dealership is small the service dept and staff were friendly and courteous and took care of my vehicle. Would recommend going there for service.
Had a flat tire while traveling and they took my car in as soon as I arrived with no appointment.
Comfy customer lounge with drinks and snacks, and everyone there was friendly.
What a difference 2 years makes...
I hope Subaru of America, Inc., Inc. is more sensitive to it's customers. I would be ashamed of an owner that is so used to receiving praise that he cannot believe nor deal with a customer that has a issue. Yes, Mr. Duff, you don't “make the car”, but you represent the manufacturer when you sell and service it.
Great experience. I honetstly drove 30 miles to have them change oil. They did tell me that they do by appointments only, but they still squeezed me in. Anyway, I live 1 mile from Grayson Subaru of Kingston pike, but as rude as they are I'd rather drive 30 miles to deal with friendly people of Earl Duff Subaru.
Fixed the nail hole properly with an internal patch and had me back on the road within 45 minutes.
