I was completely prepared to give this place raving reviews, recommend them to all my family and friends, and take my 2 other vehicles there, even after when I went to pick my car up I was told that he "didn't notice the fog lights" when doing my headlight restoration and that it would be another $30 to do them. I was o.k. with that because I was very pleased with how great my car looked. When I got home and was showing it off to my boyfriend we opened all the doors and realized that the back door jamb wasn't cleaned. (Mind you, when he gave me the quote he said "and we'll clean all your door jambs). O.K., no big deal. I called him up, praised him on how great they did, told him about the door jamb and asked if I brought the car back in a couple of days if he would restore the fog lights and clean the jamb. He said that they would take care of it. So, today I go to have that done. The boys outside seemed confused why I was back. I explained everything to them. The owner got my car straight in, did my fog lights, and told me I was all finished and took my card, never mentioned the jamb. When I asked if it was taken care of he took me outside to look at it. He then explained that it they tried to clean it now that it would make the whole car dirty again and that the next time I wanted it washed they would clean the jamb. He never apologized for it not being done the first time, he gladly took my money for the fog lights and was going to send me out of there without it being done a 2nd time, and told me that they could "wipe it with a rag but it wouldn't do much good". So, I came home and took some soap and water and a roll of paper towels and cleaned it myself in about 30 minutes. He could have had one of his boys do that while he was working on the fog lights if he really didn't want to have to wash the car again. While cleaning my car myself I realized that they didn't clean the back of the car at all. It wasn't vacuumed (or if it was not very well) and there definitely wasn't Armor All used on the plastic.I'm sorry, but after spending $300 in a place, I don't want to wait to have the very thing I paid for to be done or have to do it myself! They weren't busy and could have rewashed it right then. I'm not sure what went wrong. I chose this place because of the great reviews and because, in my family, we try to support family owned businesses. I just believe that when you fail to hold up your end of the deal, you go out of your way to make it right immediately. The tint does look amazing and the parts they cleaned looks great, but I paid for the entire car to be cleaned. I was more than friendly and understanding when I went back. I understand that things happen, but am not at all happy about the way it was handled to make it right or lack thereof, I should say.
Edit*** I raised my review to 4 stars simply because of the apology. I don't believe I will take you up on the free wash but I do very much appreciate the offer.
